Allie and Tyler met in 2017 in the Slumberland parking lot at a car meet. Allie made the first move, walking up to him, intrigued about the tattoo peeking out from under his sleeve. That conversation led to striking up a conversation about his car. When she asked what he drove, he casually said, “a race car,” which turned out to be his Ford Focus, "Dent." She stayed pretty close by that night and something just felt easy. A couple nights later, Allie and Tyler ran into each other again at another car meet. This time, Allie wasn’t leaving without his number. After asking him twice, he finally gave in and put it in her phone as “Tyler the Cute Guy I Just Met.” They started talking every day. One day in particular, while Allie was getting of work in Elgin, she brought up an opportunity for her to take the exit to see him. Of course, she went to hang out with him and from that day on, they two of them were pretty much inseparable. They officially started dating on August 8th, 2017. Since then, Allie and Tyler have built a life full of shared hobbies, late night talks, and simple routines they’ve come to love. They’ve added four furry friends to their family (Nismo, Maya, Mason, and Morgan), have discovered a shared love for watching and playing video games, and have spent countless weekends at car events, on their scooters, side-by-sides, or just grabbing their Saturday Starbucks together. There have been friend's weddings, PF Chang’s dates, new cars, a new home, the joys of becoming an aunt and uncle, and so much more. What started in a parking lot has grown into something steady and lasting: a partnership built on friendship, laughter, and choosing each other every day. They can’t wait for the next chapter as husband and wife!
