August 8th, 2017 - we were two kids in our early 20’s who had spent our recent weeks grabbing dinner and hanging out at car meets together, and we decided to make things official. We had no idea what those late night hangs would lead to or what life would have in store for us, but we knew we didn’t want to be apart from each other. Over the years we would continue to navigate life together through all of its highs and lows. We have had the privilege of experiencing some of life’s greatest joys together with the additions of our puppies into our home along with several nieces and nephews that have been brought into the world! The years have also come with their hardships. We have loved each other through various losses and faced some of life’s toughest imperfections, challenges, and decisions together. There have been disagreements and misunderstandings along with communication and forgiveness. Our story has helped shape and strengthen who we are - both as individuals and as a couple. Through it all, we have continued to choose each other. To fall in love with and build your life with your best friend is truly a blessing. Along with our initial common love of cars - we have our shared nerdy passions like video games and a professional Call of Duty team, the LA Thieves. Despite being a couple of gamers, we certainly still love spending our time outdoors when it’s nice out and we can come out of hibernation from winter. We have found such joy in our little habits like our Saturday Starbucks runs and going to church on Sunday mornings. On August 8, 2026 - exactly nine years later - we will be taking the next step on what will continue to be such a special day for us! We urgently await to see what the next nine years and beyond have in store for our marriage as we transition into being husband and wife!
